    I'm not 100% sure on the appropriate Chinese character for this, but it looks like 挦 (撏) is included in a gekion dictionary. WhatTCSay has 辑 (輯), but it looks like that might be chip4 rather than chip8. And the definitions don't quite line up in the online dictionaries I check.

My mom used this word when we were making dumplings, and she told me I needed to chip(4) the filling, so this is not limited to just dough.
